What’s in My Backpack?

Hello my loves! If you’re nosy like me, you spend hours binge watching “What’s in my Purse/Backpack/Suitcase/Etc” videos on Youtube… or maybe that’s just me and I’m a little weird. Anyway, if you are nosy and want to see what’s inside my backpack/purse, (don’t be embarrassed it’s okay to be nosy) then keep reading!

What's Inside:

Moleskin Journal

I actually have two journals, one that I document my days in and one that I use for fun to write short stories, poems, and other bits of writing that I like to practice now and again. This journal is my “feelings” journal and I love to carry it around in case I’m waiting for something or just get a random spurt of inspiration. Of course, I also have a pen on hand as well

Earbuds & Charger

I use this Beats carrying case as a multipurpose bag to hold electronics such as my charger and earbuds. I hate having my wires all tangled together and since I use my earbuds and charger throughout the day, this is a perfect case for them to not get all jumbled up in my purse.

Make-Up Bag

I absolutely love this make-up bag from Victoria’s Secret because it was inexpensive and is lined with plastic on the inside. This may not sound that exciting, but trust me, if you purchase a make-up bag that is lined with plastic instead of material, you will thank me later if your favorite foundation decides to explode unexpectedly. (This has happened to me before). I also won’t talk too much about what’s inside my make-up bag because I’m planning to make a separate post on that so stay tuned! 🙂

Wallet

I think everyone carries a wallet in their purse so this needs no further explanation. Mine is from Michael Kors and of course it’s in my favorite color: black. (Can you tell I’m obsessed with the color black?)

Hand Cream

It’s winter and I have extremely dry skin, so the Ultra Shea hand cream from B&BW is my go to. This sent is amazing too, it smells just like the beach!

Hand Sanitizer

Not much explanation needed here except that I can’t leave home without one of these little bad boys. Bath and Body Works also has the best scents and they’re usually 5 for $5!

Body Spray

Again, not much explanation needed except for the fact that I love to smell good. I usually wear perfume before leaving the house, so I prefer to use a body spray to touch up throughout the day because it’s lighter. My dad’s co-worker gifted me this one from B&BW called Lemon Pomegranate Cream and it smells delicious!

Planner & Book

I always carry around my daily planner from MintGreen. I love this planner because it has a page for everything, a calendar, to-do list, daily entries, and much more. I write all of my school assignments and daily to-do lists in here so I never forget. I picked up this planner at Target for pretty cheap too! I also love to carry around a book, currently I’m reading Not that Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham. I’m about 30 pages in and I love it! I find it hysterical and lighthearted so far, so definitely check it out if you are interested in girl power or comedic books.

Polaroid Camera

Last, but certainly not least, my pride and joy. I got this camera for Christmas, actually for the second time because I broke it when I initially was gifted it two Christmases ago while I was at a New Years dinner. I don’t think I need to explain how that broke either since it was on New Years. I asked for it again this year, after being without it for two years and I’m so happy that I did. I’m old-school in the sense that I love record players, instant cameras, and anything that is tangible. This world has become highly digital, so I believe that it’s pretty damn cool to be able to take photos of little memories here and there to keep forever. Urban Outfitters is where my parents got this camera but you can find these pretty much anywhere online. Mine is the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 in Sky Blue and I purchase all of my film from Amazon!
